Inside AIDAsol

Meyer Werft deliver the 71,000-ton AIDAsol to Carnival Corp and their AIDA brand today. It's the fifth ship in the seven-ship order, and the eighth in the AIDA fleet. Like the others in the class, at the center of the ship is the unique Theatrium, which is an auditorium and state-of-the-art theater in the ship's atrium, shown above.
On of the largest facilities aboard is the 28,000-square foot wellness center in the ship's spa.
This ship will have seven restaurants. Shown here is the Asian "East" Restaurant.
One of the interesting features of this ship (and two of its predecessors in the class) is the Brew House, a working microbrewery with its own brewmaster producing up to 500 liters of beer a day. Along with the beer, the restaurant serves typical German beer hall food, such as freshly made sausages.
AIDAsol will carry 2,194 passenger in double occupancy. The accommodations include 34 spa staterooms and five spa suites (shown above). The ship will be christened in Kiel on April 9, 2011.
