| The 130,000-ton Carnival Magic was floated out of the drydock at the Fincantieri yard in Monfalcone (near Venice) on October 9, 2010. The ship was towed to a wet dock where the fitting out process will continue over the coming months until the ship is delivered in April. Carnival Magic is a sister to Carnival Dream which was delivered last year. Carnival Magic will enter service in the Mediterranean on May 1, 2011, and begin operation from its home port in Galveston on November 14, 2011. | |
